About Tomasz Dolski

Polish violinist, vocalist, composer, teacher, finalist of "Must be the Music - Only Music". He grew up in a musical family. He creates and plays music of various genres, from classics developed in a contemporary style, through pop, rock, jazz and electronic music. The artist creates his own style, has extraordinary charisma and excellent contact with the audience.

In 2014, he graduated from two faculties at the Music School Complex. Fryderyk Chopin in Piła: instrumental department in the violin class (PSM I and II degree) and vocal department (PSM II degree). In 2017, he defended his diploma at the Faculty of Conducting, Jazz and Music Education at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. F. Nowowiejski in Bydgoszcz. Two years later, he received a master's degree in pedagogy at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Warsaw, where he currently teaches (more about scientific activity in the "scientific activity" tab).

In 2011, at the age of 15, he made himself known to a wider audience by appearing in the Polsat TV talent show "Must be the Music - Only Muzyka", where he won 3rd place out of over 10,000 participants. In this program, he attracted attention with his unconventional approach to playing the violin accompanied by electronic music. In the same year, the artist performed at two large international celebrations. "Music knows no borders" in Gogolin - on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Good Neighborhood and Friendly Cooperation between Poland and Germany. Then he accepted an invitation from the Ministry of National Education to play a ceremonial concert at the Wieliczka Salt Mine for Directors General for Education from all over the European Union during the Polish Presidency in the Union in 2011.

In 2014, the artist's debut album was released: "Love to Music" released by the Luna Music label. The album contains the first compositions from the period of 4 years of creative work. In the same year, Tomasz performed for the first time in Germany during "Deutsch-Polnische Begegnung Hamburg 2014" - a concert at the Kaiserkeller club in Hamburg (the legendary stage where The Beatles performed).

In 2016, he won the 2nd place at the Polish Festival of Art "ORZEŁ 2016" in the "SOUND" category and the special award "CRYSTAL TUNER" from the Association of Authors and Composers ZAKR.

In 2017, the artist created his own project of the educational and concert tour "SYMFONIA NA VIOLIN AND DJ", which turned out to be a great success. The tour started in January 2017, the program has its third edition. So far, the spectacle has been seen by over 100,000 students, nearly 400 concerts have been performed. The artist, who is also the creator and performer of the project, presents it in schools and concert halls all over Poland. The project aims to stimulate and develop the sensitivity and imagination of young people, building a world of values. The idea behind the project is to present classical music in modern arrangements to arouse the curiosity of young viewers and encourage them to discover classical music.

In 2018, Tomasz played his first full-length concert at one of the largest music festivals in Italy "Musica in Imola".

The pedagogical activity of the musician is not only the “Symphony for Violin and DJ” project, but also a series of various types of artistic workshops for various age groups. In the same year (2018), Tomasz organized and conducted international music workshops: "Imola é Musica" in Piła (Polish-Italian) and "Autumn Music Workshop" in Warsaw (Polish-German).

The musician gave concerts on the largest Polish stages, such as: the National Opera, the National Stadium, the House of Music and Dance in Zabrze, the Amphitheater in Opole, the Amphitheater in Mrągowo, the International Congress Center in Katowice, the Exhibition and Congress Center in Jasionka, the 100th Anniversary Hall in Wrocław . He performed in live TV concerts (Podziel się Posiłkiem, Tornister Full of Smiles), as well as in TV shows, e.g. in the TVP 1 program "Jaka to melodia?".
